Our clients are at the heart of it all.

GFSS has long-standing relationships with both federal government and private sector entities to create secure, custom software solutions that transform and improve operations. GFSS has assisted with technical projects, data analyses, and support services. We thrive on specialty assignments. Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance

In 2001, GFSS designed and implemented an information management system for USAID/OFDA called Abacus. Abacus is an Oracle-based application that helps manage worldwide humanitarian operations and meets internal and external reporting requirements. This specially designed application assists in budget planning, fund tracking, program planning, award and post-award information.

GFSS has provided IT consultants to this international environmental non-governmental organization to assist with technical projects, data analyses, and support services.

Office of Food For Peace

In 2018, GFSS embarked on a project to customize the Abacus platform for the USAID Office of Food for Peace. Beginning with extensive stakeholder consultations, GFSS reformed Abacus by designing a software solution integrated with a platform to serve the newly formed Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.

Bureau for Population, Refugees, and Migration

In 2005, GFSS delivered a fully functional and customized version of Abacus to the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration to assist in program management.

Don't take our word for it.

"OFDA is really lucky to have Lalitha and you (Melinda Wolfe). The passion and intelligence you both bring is astoundingly impressive. I have rarely met folks who clearly cared so deeply about the mission of an organization and who were so committed to helping it become the best it could be. I’ve seen that in both of you, and I know I was really fortunate to get to work with you all."

"I want to thank you (the "mother of Abacus") for all your efforts. Without you, PRM would never have tried something new. Your confidence in the system and technical expertise made this a win all-around! Working together has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in PRM!"

"And a HUGE thanks to the Abacus team for automating the generation of the master spreadsheet we use to track accruals. This has saved tens of hours of staff time each quarter – really a model for how we can work more efficiently. Thank you!"
